How Your Treatment in Romania Works

Travelling abroad for treatment only works if the process is clear. Here is exactly what happens, from your first message to your smile back home. Five simple steps, and we are with you at each one.

  1. 1

    Send us your X-ray

It starts with a scan. Use our contact form to send an X-ray or panoramic OPG image (jpg or pdf). Add a short note about what is bothering you or what you would like to change.

If you do not have a recent X-ray, tell us anyway — we will help you work out what to do next.

    Get your free treatment plan

Our team reviews your scan with the clinic and prepares a treatment plan for you. It sets out what treatment is recommended, roughly how long it will take, and what it will cost. The plan is free and there is no obligation to book.

If anything in the plan is unclear, we talk it through with you before you decide. You will not be surprised by anything once you arrive.

  3. 3

    Plan your trip

Once you are happy with the plan, we help you organise the visit. We coordinate your treatment dates with the clinic and help you sort out the practical side of the trip, including suggestions for hotels and getting around Bucharest.

Bucharest is easy to reach, with direct flights from most European cities and a short flight time. If you would like to make more of the visit, we can suggest what to see and where to eat while you are here.

    Your treatment days in Bucharest

This is where the modern clinic makes the difference. A typical day looks like this:

    • You arrive at the clinic and meet the team. Our staff speak English, French and Arabic, so nothing gets lost in translation.
    • The dentist confirms the plan with an in-person examination and any imaging needed. Our partners use digital imaging with up to 90% less radiation.
    • Treatment goes ahead. Because the clinic has an in-house dental laboratory, work that normally means weeks of waiting can happen fast — in the right cases, fixed teeth or dentures within 24 hours.
    • Between appointments you have time to rest, explore the city or enjoy a meal. We are happy to recommend authentic Romanian restaurants.

You are never left guessing what happens next. Each day is planned around your treatment and your comfort.

    Aftercare and follow-up

Your care does not end when you fly home. Before you leave, the dentist gives you clear aftercare instructions and answers your questions. We stay reachable if anything comes up once you are back.

How long do I need to stay?

This depends on what you are having done. As a general guide (your own plan may differ):

  • Check-up, cleaning or a single filling: often a day or two.
  • Crowns, veneers or a bridge: commonly a few days to a week, especially where the in-house lab allows fast turnaround.
  • Dental implants: implant treatment usually involves two stages. The first visit places the implants; after a healing period of a few months, a second visit fits the final teeth. In selected full-mouth cases with fixed teeth in 24 hours, the first stage is much shorter.
  • Full-mouth rehabilitation (All-on-4 / All-on-6): the first stage is often around a week, with a later visit for the final restoration.

We tell you the expected number of days and visits in your treatment plan, before you book anything.

What to bring

  • Any recent X-rays, OPG scans or CT scans you have.
  • A list of the medicines you take, and any allergies.
  • Details of past dental work if you have them.
  • Your ID or passport, and your EHIC/GHIC card if you have one.
  • Comfortable clothes and a little free time to enjoy the city.

The short version

  1. Send your X-ray through the contact form.
  2. Receive a free treatment plan.
  3. We help you plan the trip.
  4. You come to Bucharest for treatment.
  5. You fly home with aftercare and follow-up in place.
